彌陀四十有八願  欲生淨土但十念

惟此法門最方便  親朋好友互相勸

各位護法信徒：
佛經云：「念佛一聲，福增無量；禮佛一拜，罪滅河沙。念佛功德殊勝，將來仗佛威神力，滅除煩惱業，更能往生極樂世界，花開見佛，聞悉法音﹐開佛知見。本寺於十二月十四日舉行彌陀法會，慶祝阿彌陀佛的聖誕暨精進念佛，仰仗彌陀願力，回向信施檀那，善根增長、福慧俱增；伏願祖禰先亡，高登蓮品、獲無生忍。屆時歡迎闔府蒞臨，專心持念萬德洪名，同霑法益！

Amitabha has forty-eight vows.

Those who desire birth in the Pure-land only need but ten recitations.

Only is this Dharma-method most convenient. 

Close family and friends do we mutually encourage.

Dear Dharma Friends and Devotees,

Amitabha Buddha made great vows, decorously adoring his Pure-land with immeasurable kindness, compassion, joy, and equanimity.  In his vows, were the realizations of “Whoever invoked his name, would obtain rebirth in his Pure-land. Once their lotus blossom opened and the Buddha could be seen, they would never regress upon their path towards Bodhi.” For the advancement of the congregations’ diligent cultivation and promotion of Amitabha’s spirit of making compassionate vows, ABCS will conduct the Amitabha Buddha Dharma Service on Sunday, December 14th with a full day of Chan and Pure Land Practice. We dedicate all merits from the service for world peace and blessings for the family members of every devotee. May all be blessed with joy, wisdom, and peace!

佛光山三寶寺藥師法會通啟

萬人廣修戒定慧，千家長明日月燈；

消災延壽常歡慶，增福進德大地春。

欣逢藥師如來聖誕之期，本寺乃宣揚藥師如來濟世的行願、增進大眾之福德，謹定於國曆2014年10月18至19日啟建《藥師法會》。藉由燃燈續明、諷經讚詠、禮拜旋繞，讓我們與藥師佛之悲願相應，修戒定慧學，得清淨的身口意業。所集功勳回向護法信眾安居樂業、福壽增益、平安吉祥、並祈願社會安和樂利、世界早日和平。歡迎闔府攜眷蒞臨，前來禮佛，點燈續明，同霑法益。

大悲懺法會通啟

「無邊眾生，若受苦惱，

只要一心稱念觀世音菩薩之名， 

菩薩即能觀其音聲，前往為其解難。

以此因緣，故名觀世音…」。

《大悲懺》，為現今一般通行最廣之懺法。此儀軌為天台宗知禮大師依據《大悲心陀羅尼經》所撰寫。〈大悲咒〉是觀世音菩薩大慈悲心、無上菩提心，為普渡眾生，超凡入聖的重要口訣。藉著菩薩的慈悲力量，使得眾生內在心裡的煩惱以及外在環境的磨難，都能夠因為禮拜《大悲懺》而消除，同時也能讓自他的修持及所發的宏願，都圓滿成就。屆時歡迎闔府回寺拈香禮佛、同霑法益、共享法樂！

Great Compassion Repentance Dharma Service

If any being suffers from anguish or distress, one may single-mindedly recite Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva’s name, contemplating this sound, shall come forth in rescue. It is because of these conditions that this bodhisattva is named as “Contemplator of the World’s Sounds.”

The Great Compassion Repentance, the most widely practiced repentance, was written by Master Zhi-Li of the Tian-tai School, in accordance with the Great Compassion Heart Dharani Sutra.  The Great Compassion Mantra is the Avalokitesvara (Guan Yin) Bodhisattva’s formula for the great compassion and unsurpassed bodhi mind, which universally delivers all sentient beings from the mundane to the sacred.

By performing the Great Compassion Repentance and through the Bodhisattva’s compassionate strength, all internal afflictions and external sufferings may be eradicated.  At the same time, vows and cultivation of both oneself and others can be perfected.
